Who we are
Into the Tent ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through intothetent.com. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@intothetent.com.
What we collect and why
- Email address (and first name, if you give it): to send you our newsletter and updates. Lawful basis: your consent, given when you subscribe. You can withdraw it any time by unsubscribing.
- Purchase information: if you buy a product, our checkout provider processes your payment and is the seller of record. We receive your email and order details to deliver the product and provide support. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- Site analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits without cookies or tracking you across sites. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run the service: Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (website hosting and analytics), and our checkout provider (payments). They process data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your data.
Where your data goes
Some providers are based outside the UK/EEA (for example, in the US). Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and order records for as long as needed for accounting and support.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or send it to another provider, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@intothetent.com and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or call 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
Our analytics are cookieless. Our checkout provider may set cookies needed to process your payment. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We'll update this page if our practices change and note the date at the top.
